MEET BOB SIREN co-owner of Design and Installation Landscaping Co and Power Landscapes, Vinton. Manager of Diamond Hill Nursery for 12 years, Bob also contributes to Discover Smith Mountain Lake Magazine (Weeder’s Digest) and is seasonal host for Garden Gab on WSLK880AM AND 98.3FM radio stations. His presentation is on MONARCH BUTTERFLIES.
MEET DR. JANET G. HICKMAN, MD. An avid daffodil enthusiast, Janet grows more than 1800 varieties of daffodils in her Lynchburg garden. She is an American Daffodil Society Accredited Judge and Judge Instructor and state Daffodil Chair for the Garden Club of Virginia. Join her for DANCING WITH DAFFODILS.
MEET HEATHER O’BRYAN Combining her love of gardening and writing, Heather O’Bryan, Fanatical Botanical columnist and blogger for the Roanoke Times, is a dedicated horticulturist with a plethora of experience in the landscape field. She is working with Roanoke-based event specialist Riot Rooster, to produce The Early Bird Craft Fair and Garden Primer and the Flock and Roost Equinox Festival in Roanoke. The events feature garden and sustainability educational courses. Heather will present BUILDING BEAUTIFUL CONTAINERS.
